Managing Channel Settings

Overview

In this article, we're going to be cover how to set up a channel and also how to adjust all the various channel settings.

Channel details

  1. Input / Edit channel name

  2. Input / Edit the channel description

  3. View Recent Activity

  4. Change channel Status ( Active, Completed, Archived)

    1. Active Status

    2. Completed Status

    3. Archived Status - Only archived channels can be deleted

Channel Members

Invite someone new

  1. Search for the user with their username or email address

  2. Click on add

PS: Only members who have accepted an invite to your Voyc organisation can be added to a channel.

Change member permissions

There are three types of permissions members can have within a specific channel.

  1. Owner

    Owns the channel. The person of the highest permission.

  2. Contributor

    A contributor can manage the channel.

  3. Viewer

    Can only see all the data that's in that specific channel, but cannot adjust anything.

Transcription settings

  1. Define Minimum Conversation Length

    Define the minimum length of a conversation that Voyc is allowed to transcribe. Any conversations shorter than the defined lengths will not be processed by Voyc.

  2. Add Vocabulary Keywords and Phrases

    Adding vocabulary and keywords is done to increase the accuracy of the transcription.

Scorecard Settings

This is where you create your scorecard. Please refer to the scorecard configuration article on how to configure and adjust your channel scorecard.

Naming Convention

The naming convention here is when you define how Voyc should read the conversation's metadata present in the file.

Alert Settings

This is where you create your scorecard. Please refer to the alert configuration article on how to configure and adjust your channel alerts.
