Why Rerun Alerts?
Alerts automatically flag moments in your conversations when specific words or phrases are spoken, such as “physical illness” or “here is my PIN”. They help you quickly identify sensitive topics, compliance risks or key themes so you can prioritise QA and compliance reviews more effectively.
Getting the balance right matters. Too many alerts can make everything feel urgent, which means nothing truly is. Too few alerts, on the other hand, limits your visibility and risks missing important issues. The goal is precision, surfacing what matters to you most, without creating noise.
As you refine your alert keywords or adjust your settings, rerunning alerts lets you apply those improvements to your existing conversations immediately. You can test and optimise your setup in real time, without needing support or waiting for new calls to come in.
By putting this control in your hands, Voyc makes it easier to fine-tune your alert strategy so your results stay accurate, actionable and aligned with your evolving QA and compliance goals.
What Happens When You Rerun Alerts
Rerunning alerts clears all previous alert data for the selected conversations so Voyc can analyse them again from scratch using your updated alert configuration.
This includes removing:
Resolutions
Reasons
Notes
This reset ensures your results reflect the most up-to-date criteria and eliminates outdated or inconsistent alert outcomes. It’s a critical part of refining your setup and achieving more precise, meaningful results across your conversations.
How to Rerun Alerts
Step 1: Select conversations
Go to the Channel Conversations page.
Use filters to narrow down the conversations you want to rerun alerts on (for example, by date range, tag, agent, attribute etc…).
Tick the checkboxes next to the conversations you want to rerun alerts on.
To select all visible conversations on the page, tick the top checkbox above the list.
💡 Tip: Filtering first helps you target only the conversations that are relevant to your updated alerts, saving time and keeping your data tidy.
Step 2: Rerun and acknowledge
Click Rerun Alerts in the top-right corner of the page.
A confirmation pop-up will appear asking you to read and accept two messages:
The selected conversations could take up to 10 minutes to rerun alerts.
All alert progress for those conversations will be reset, including resolutions, reasons and notes.
Once you’ve acknowledged both checkboxes, click Rerun Alerts.
You’ll see a confirmation that alerts are being rerun.
💡 Tip: Choose a test conversation that should be affected by rerunning alerts and tag it accordingly (possibly “alerts test”). For example a conversation that had 5 alerts, but after editing the alerts, should only have 2. Refresh your conversation list or browser and check the same call, the number of alerts should change when the rerun is complete.
